Mrs. Picard is a band director at Biloxi Junior High where she teaches beginning, intermediate, and advanced bands as well as assisting with strings. She is a graduate of Biloxi High and was part of the band, color guard, and orchestra programs during her time there. She loves learning new instruments and can play every instrument in the band and orchestra along with some others. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Southern Mississippi, graduating from the Honors College Summa Cum Laude. She is currently studying to earn her Master's of Music Education from William Carey University. She is proud to be giving back to the Biloxi Band family she grew up in. Mrs. Picard and her husband are excited to welcome their first baby this November!

Ms. Davila

Originally from Arkansas, Ms. Davila earned her Bachelor of Music Education from Arkansas State University and her Master of Music in Music Education from The University of Mississippi. While at Ole Miss, she served as a Band Graduate Assistant and Director of Campus Band, where she assisted with conducting, recruiting, athletic bands, and student leadership. In addition to her background as a clarinetist, she has experience performing in marching band on mellophone and in color guard. During her master’s program, she also presented music education research at professional conferences.
Ms. Davila has taught middle and high school band, maintained a private clarinet studio, and worked with marching band programs throughout Arkansas. Her experience includes instruction in woodwinds, brass, marching fundamentals, and color guard. She has performed with the Wind Ensemble at both Arkansas State University and The University of Mississippi and served as President of the collegiate chapter of the National Association for Music Education (NAfME), President of Tau Beta Sigma, and Music Ambassador at Arkansas State University.
While at Arkansas State, Ms. Davila received the Chancellor’s Scholar Award as the top graduating student in the College of Liberal Arts and Communication. At The University of Mississippi, she was recognized as the most Outstanding Graduate Student.
